Service
ForCheckout provides a software interface for creating hosted checkout links and connecting customers with independent payment providers. Independent providers handle card processing, transaction decisions, any required verification, limits, processing status, and settlement. Their terms and policies also apply.
Seller responsibilities
The seller provides and describes the product or service and is responsible for pricing, fulfillment, delivery, customer support, refunds, disputes, taxes, legal compliance, and the accuracy and control of the receiving wallet address. An incorrect address or network selection can cause irreversible loss after settlement.
Customer responsibilities
The customer is responsible for reviewing the seller, product or service, amount, and applicable payment-partner terms before paying. Questions about the order, delivery, refund, or seller should be directed to the seller.
Payment-partner responsibilities
The independent payment partner handles card processing, transaction availability, approval or decline decisions, any required verification, limits, processing status, settlement, and card-processing support. Availability varies by country, card, provider, and transaction details.
ForCheckout responsibilities
ForCheckout creates and displays the hosted checkout link and passes the information required to initiate payment to the independent payment partner. ForCheckout does not guarantee that a provider or card transaction will be available or approved.
No custody and no card storage
ForCheckout does not hold or custody customer or seller funds and does not store raw card details. Settlement is handled by the payment partner and sent to the seller-provided receiving address.
Fees
Creating a checkout link has no setup or monthly fee from ForCheckout. Payment-partner fees may apply and are determined by the provider. The applicable cost is shown during checkout. ForCheckout may receive a commission from the payment partner.
Refunds and support
Product and service refunds, fulfillment questions, and customer disputes are handled by the seller, subject to applicable provider rules. Checkout or card-processing questions should follow the payment partner’s instructions. Problems with a ForCheckout page can be reported to info@forcheckout.com.
Acceptable use and service changes
Illegal, fraudulent, abusive, or prohibited use is not allowed. The service may be changed, restricted, or suspended to protect users, providers, or the platform.
